Activities

Battle For Earth

Take on a superhero personality and win control of the universe.

Challenge Ladder

Move up the ladder by challenging higher ranked players to matches at mutually agreeable times/locations. Included with membership - Begins May 15th - September 15th.

Drills

Brush up your skills with informed drill sessions or come by for a pick-up game of singles or doubles. Thursday evenings at 6 PM at Berkley Recreation Center (no fee).

In-House Tournament

Our MCTA In-House Singles and Doubles Tournament. Date to be determined (fees extra).

Motor City Tennis Classic National Tournament

Test your skills at our third annual GLTA sanctioned tournament. Held at Franklin Fitness & Racquet Club and Bloomfield Tennis & Fitness Club in August (fees extra).

No-Partner Doubles League

The league is perfect for those of us who have “commitment” issues. You can choose to play all 16 weeks, or 12 weeks, or 8 weeks.

Singles League

Tuesdays at 6pm at Harvey Barcus. Start dates will be posted.

Team Tennis

Players can join a team and compete against opposing teams throughout the summer. Each team consists of 6 players with everyone playing singles and doubles (fees extra).

Travel Team

New offering this year, form your own four man/woman team comprised of, two singles players, combined rating of 8.0 and two doubles players, combined rating of 7.5. Alternating sites, Harvey Barcus and Plymouth H.S. Thursday evenings - 6:30pm, June 7th & 28th, July 12th & 19th, August 3rd & Sept. 15th (included with membership).

Winter Doubles

Begins October 2007 and runs through May 2008. SUBS: If you are not on the league you may still be able to play. We need subs and also have additional courts available. Drop in or contact Dan Cole for more info.
